1. ELIGIBILITY & PARTICIPATION

• This category is open to students in grades 6-11.
• Participants will be evaluated and ranked separately in the following grade groups:
  → Group 1: Grades 6-7-8
  → Group 2: Grades 9-10-11
• The participation fee for this category is 20 €.   
  

2. EXAM FORMAT

• No prior coding experience is required to participate in this category. The competition focuses on participants’ ability to design and refine effective prompts for AI tools.
• Participants are required to write all prompts in English. Prompts submitted in other languages are not supported. The use of digital or printed dictionaries, books, or translation tools during the exam is not allowed.
• Participants will be given specific tasks and will be required to create prompts that produce results matching the given requirements within the specified time limit. 
  

3. COMPETITION FORMAT AND ROUNDS

• This category consists of 2 rounds:
  → Final Round (online)
  → Grand Final (onsite) – Europe or USA
• The online Final Round plays an important role in qualification for the Grand Finals in Europe or the USA. 
  

4. COMPETITION STRUCTURE

• Participants will complete specialized tasks designed to assess their logical thinking, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and ability to develop effective prompts using AI tools.
• Participants will take the exam through the Coding Olympiad Exam Platform.
• Participants will be given a time limit for each task based on its complexity and will be expected to complete each task successfully and as quickly as possible.
• Participants should carefully manage their time. Once they have completed the task, they must click the “SUBMIT” button to officially submit their results and end the exam. The submission time will be recorded and considered as one of the main evaluation criteria.
• Participants may review and refine their prompts during the allocated time before submitting their final result.
• Once the allocated time for a task ends, no further changes or submissions will be permitted. 
  

5. EVALUATION & RANKING

The evaluation and ranking will be based on the following criteria, in order of priority:

• Accuracy of the Generated Result
• Completion Time  
  

6. MEDALS, CERTIFICATES & DISCOUNT AWARDS

Participants who successfully complete the assigned tasks will be evaluated and ranked based on the criteria above and awarded as follows:

• The top 3 participants in each grade group will receive:
  - A physical Gold Medal (Gold 1, Gold 2 or Gold 3) & a Certificate of Achievement
  - Eligibility for discounts on the Grand Final in Europe or the USA:
     → 1st place: 75% discount
     → 2nd place: 50% discount
     → 3rd place: 25% discount
• Top 15%: Digital Gold Medal Certificate & Certificate of Achievement
• Next 25%: Digital Silver Medal Certificate & Certificate of Achievement
• Next 35%: Digital Bronze Medal Certificate & Certificate of Achievement
• Next 25%: Digital Honorable Mention Certificate & Certificate of Achievement 
  

Participants who do not successfully complete the assigned tasks will receive a Digital Participation Certificate.

7. QUALIFICATION FOR THE CODING GRAND FINAL – EUROPE & USA

• The qualification requirement for the Coding Grand Final in Europe or the USA is to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
